Bitbase rolls out ORIGIN to distribute 1M weekly points

Panama City, November 4, 2026 — The digital asset exchange Bitbase has rolled out ORIGIN, marking the debut season of its fresh Bitbase Points initiative. To ensure historical engagement was honored from the very beginning, the platform rewarded qualifying traders with pre-credited points prior to the official rollout. Set to run for a duration of 26 weeks, the season concludes on May 4, 2027, and features a weekly distribution pool of 1,000,000 points.

This approach extends to ORIGIN, which honors sustained, long-term involvement over a six-month stretch rather than focusing solely on temporary spikes in activity.

How participation is counted

Designed around everyday exchange usage, ORIGIN enrolls all qualifying new and current users automatically without requiring a separate sign-up process. Participants earn points on a daily basis derived from their overall exchange footprint, which encompasses four distinct categories: trading volume, asset holdings maintained on the platform, regular engagement, and referral activity. Because regular habits are factored into the formula, continuous interaction compounds in value throughout the duration of the season.

Additionally, the program incentivizes community growth through referrals. Referrers earn a bonus equal to 25% of the direct contribution generated by each user they invite, and this referral bonus does not diminish or alter the invited user’s personal earnings.

Beginning November 9, users will also have access to customizable Trading Identity cards that showcase their individual trading behaviors, with updated versions released weekly on Mondays until the season concludes.
