Geneva, Switzerland, October 12, 2026 — TRON DAO, a community-governed organization focused on driving internet decentralization through blockchain technology and decentralized applications (dApps), spotlighted the major findings of its State of TRON Q3 2026 ecosystem report. The review covers network metrics, stablecoin settlement, liquidity parameters, tokenomics, developer activity, decentralization measures, and protocol governance throughout the third quarter of 2026.

During Q3 2026, TRON surpassed $30 trillion in total cumulative transaction volume, highlighting its ongoing role as a primary foundation for digital-asset transfers and stablecoin settlements. Concurrently, stablecoin supply and total value locked posted growth, while the active user base expanded and transaction activity remained stable overall.

  • Canary Capital launched the Canary Staked TRX ETF (TRXS) on September 9, 2026. TRXS provides investors with exposure to the spot price of TRX—the native utility and governance token of the TRON network—alongside passive net staking rewards factored directly into the fund’s daily net asset value. TRON DAO’s team rang the Cboe Closing Bell in Chicago on September 29 to mark the launch.
  • TRON expanded its ecosystem collaborations in Q3 2026, welcoming institutional custody and staking, new trading platforms, and digital dollar products via Anchorage Digital, Bitnomial, Backpack, Ethena, and Ducat. Additional payment, wallet, cross-chain, and developer integrations further enhanced infrastructure for decentralized finance, treasury management, and payments.
  • Stablecoin supply and Total Value Locked continued to expand. The supply of USDT and USDD climbed to $93.88 billion, marking a 5.5% increase from Q2. Meanwhile, total value locked including staking reached $28.21 billion, and DeFi TVL (excluding staking) hit $13.05 billion.
  • The active-address base widened while transaction frequency held steady. Average rolling monthly active addresses advanced 9.8% to reach 18 million.
  • Network fee generation moderated. Fees amounted to $701.4 million in Q3, averaging $7.62 million per day, which represents a 4.0% decrease from Q2. The average daily transaction fee also declined from $0.668 to $0.643.

TRON’s ecosystem continued to scale during the third quarter, introducing new integrations across institutional offerings, exchanges, stablecoins, wallets, payment channels, and developer tools. Anchorage Digital incorporated TRC-20 custody and TRX staking, whereas Bitnomial and Backpack widened access to TRX trading markets. Ethena introduced USDe and sUSDe to the TRON network, and Ducat linked its Bitcoin-backed financial framework to the network’s stablecoin ecosystem.

The period also delivered enhanced features for developers and end users. MoonPay rolled out gasless transactions via Trust Wallet, removing the necessity for users to maintain TRX balances for network fees, while Bitcoin.com Wallet introduced native compatibility for TRX and USDT-TRC20. MetaMask connectivity extended to B.AI, SUN.io, JustLend DAO, and BitTorrent, and Fireblocks Flow added capabilities for payments originating from TRON wallets. Eco and STON.fi broadened cross-chain stablecoin connectivity, and KiiChain connected TRON assets to its 24/7 payment and foreign-exchange framework. For developers, Privy upgraded its transaction, wallet, and policy management features, while OpenZeppelin integrated its smart contract libraries and security toolsets. Combined, these integrations strengthened the infrastructure supporting DeFi, treasury operations, and payments on TRON.

Developments from the third quarter highlight steady expansion in stablecoin settlement volumes, liquidity, network participation, and ecosystem architecture, reflecting ongoing demand for TRON’s financial framework. Backed by these strengthening trends, TRON advances into Q4 with an increasingly solidified position in global digital asset activity and stablecoin settlements.
