Exchange-Traded Fund
A fund holding an asset, whose shares trade like a stock.
A spot crypto ETF holds the asset directly and issues shares against it, giving regulated brokerage accounts exposure without custody. Daily creations and redemptions are published, which is why flow figures are quoted so widely.
