Automated Market Maker
A pricing formula that quotes both sides of a market from a pool of assets.
Rather than matching buyers to sellers, an AMM holds reserves of two assets and prices trades so the pool keeps a defined relationship, commonly that the product of the reserves stays constant. Liquidity providers earn fees and carry the resulting inventory risk.
